1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Went to a foreign country on my own (despite only for less than 24 hours, but still), worked with mat sallehs and realised as human as they are, they are a weird WEIRD bunch of people.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never believe in resolutions, so no reason to do more.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin, bless her ducky little child.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.

5. What countries did you visit?
Singapore, because that's the only place time and money allows me.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A laboratory job in a hospital. More money. More CONFIDENCE.

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

Cosfest, July 8th - 10th: There's just something to be said for the first time you go on a trip with friends and make it back alive WITH your wallet intact. My god the moment I realised I might have lost my wallet in a foreign country my heart stopped right there.

22nd October, Genting Trip: It was my first trip up there in 10 years. The place always freezes and fogs up just for me. /___\

16-17th December, CF: Because it's the highlight of my miserable life.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I lost 5 kgs and maintained it, and I FINALLY FINISHED Anne Rice's Cry to Heaven (took be 6 years, bout damn time)

9. What was your biggest failure?
I couldn't hold onto my job.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Too many colds.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Final Fantasy XII Ultimania Omega, no question.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Never noticed.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I could run a laundry list. But it includes my parents.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Corzplaying and yamcha sessions.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
FINAL. FANTASY. XII.

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Every goddamn Rob Thomas song.

Not sure

Thinner

I think I got a leetle bit more money, but that's it.

Getting job interviews.

Staring at a wall trying to make the right decision for EVERYTHING.

20. How did you be spend Christmas?
Went to Sungei Wang and watched a cosplay competition final. When did I get so engrossed in cosplaying anyway?

22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Blergh.

23. How many one-night stands?
The same as last year - nada, zip, zilch, zero. And I'd like to keep it that way.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Seinfeld, because it was the only thing I watched.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Pretty much yah.

26. What was the best book you read?
...Does the FFXII Ultimania Omega count?

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Justin Timberlake.

28. What did you want and got?
FFXII original merchandise. =D

29. What did you want and not get?
A better job. D=

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Considering I only watched FOUR FILMS....POTC 2 will have to be it.

31. What did you do on your birthday?
I had bread pudding, the office had no electricity, Very Disliked Man kept asking me if I had enough work to do, learned how much tax expats pay, and had a small outing with friends.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Call me obsessed, but hospital-based job = parents happy = no ranting at what a sucky person I am = happier me.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
"It needs to look suitable for work."

34. What kept you sane?
Original stories.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
None.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
"We can't destroy every illegal building because then we'd have to destroy a lot of religious places" -> Selangor MP, who does not know the meaning of separation of religion and state.

The entire UMNO Assembly ties with it.

Miss what?

38. Who was the best new person you met?

Science really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
